About me
Sonia Balasch is an educator and scholar with more than two decades of teaching experience at both the secondary and university levels across the United States. She holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of New Mexico and a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics. Throughout her career, she has taught Spanish language and linguistics, Hispanic cultures, mathematics, and Advanced Placement courses in public schools, community colleges, and universities. Her work is grounded in academic rigor, bilingual education, and a strong commitment to culturally responsive teaching.
