About me
Michelle Sanchez-St.Andre is a Visual Arts Director for secondary learning at Albuquerque Public Schools. Her 15+ year art teaching career was primarily at the secondary level and spanned a variety of media such as drawing, painting, ceramics, computer graphic art, AP Art History and AP Studio Art. As an adjunct professor, she has also taught technology and printmaking courses to Pre-service Art Educators at UNM. Prior to becoming a Visual Arts teacher, she was a professional Graphic Designer in New Mexico and in California. Michelle is a proud mother of two young women, Athelin and Camille and enjoys traveling abroad. As a multi-discipline artist, she explores several types of media, from graphic design, murals, sculpting in clay, all types of printmaking and mixed media.
