Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong relationships with students, creating safe and supportive environments, and helping young people develop the skills necessary to overcome challenges and achieve success. My work includes individual and group support, crisis response, family collaboration, and advocacy to ensure students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
I am committed to implementing evidence-based practices that support student growth and well-being, including extensive training in motivational interviewing and harm reduction. These approaches have strengthened my ability to engage students in meaningful conversations, foster self-awareness, and empower them to make positive decisions. As a school counselor, I strive to promote resilience, equity, and student success while collaborating with educators, families, and community partners to support the whole child. I also hold licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), which further enhances my understanding of student mental health and development.
