The session focuses on turning attention to the students who show positive student behaviors. This is a refocus from chasing the problems to holding up the successes. Explicit expectations for student life skills, systems to focus on students who show strong life skills and methods to teach life skills to the individuals who need it, will be covered.

I was a special education teacher for 20 something years. I became a principal 12 years ago. I am invested in making school relevant for students and less exhausting for teachers. I believe education isn't for the future it is present and a daily part of being alive.
