About me
Hi, I'm Allison! I'm a special education teacher with 14 years of experience working with high school students with diverse learning and communication needs. I currently teach in a self-contained Social Communication Skills program and serve as a Department Chair.I'm passionate about creating inclusive learning environments, supporting students with autism and other disabilities, and helping educators use data to make meaningful instructional decisions. I also have a strong interest in educational leadership, special education compliance, transition planning, and building school cultures where all students feel a sense of belonging.Outside of school, I'm a wife, mom of two, avid reader, and longtime Special Olympics coach.
